In particular, it will explore two Drupal projects, each organised and developed using different architectural approaches (monolithic and headless), yet both pursuing the same objectives of efficiency and optimisation.

About the speakers:

Ruben Marques is a Senior Drupal Developer with over 15 years of experience, specialising in complex institutional projects. He has significantly advanced the Openfed distribution, contributing to key Belgian Federal websites, including Belgium.be, SPF Finance, SPF Foreign Affairs, SPF Economy, and the Belgian Monarchy.
Alex Aleksanyan is a skilled Digital Product Strategist and Agile Practitioner with broad experience leading tech and strategy teams. He specialises in delivering web, mobile, and e-commerce solutions, driving digital innovation for both government and private clients.
Theodoros Suliotis is the Chapter Back-end and Team Lead at iO, with a passion for developing innovative applications. He co-founded Escapp Studio, where he serves as Technical Director. With extensive experience in backend development and team leadership, he excels in driving technical excellence and collaboration within his teams.
Nicolas Dassaler is a specialist Software Developer at iO, focusing on web development and object-oriented programming. With a solid background in backend development, he has contributed to various projects, including web solutions for clients. Nicolas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with distinction from EPHEC.
