Guided by a commitment to openness, inclusivity, and shared learning as outlined in our Code of Conduct, our governance guidelines serve as the compass that steers us toward fruitful collaboration and meaningful engagement, including a lineout of the community members as well as the participation guidelines. Below, you can find the different stakeholders/ types of community members as well as the participation guidelines.

 

Stakeholders (Community Members)

Drupal Grand Master: Drupal Grand Masters (DGM) are experts in Drupal, with extensive open source experience and a deep technological understanding. As core members and workstream leaders, they play a crucial role in shaping the Community of Practice, contributing to its vision and direction. Beyond their technical proficiency, DGMs are mentors and advocates, guiding others in the community and fostering collaboration and innovation. Their leadership ensures the continued growth and success of the Drupal community by example.

Drupal Knight: Drupal Knights (DK) are active contributors to the Drupal community, sharing their experience and insights to discussions when relevant topics arise. They possess a solid understanding of Drupal and contribute with their practical knowledge to enhance the community's collective learning and growth. DK’s contribute to community activities on a regular basis.

Drupal Padawan: Drupal Padawans (DP) are less active than Drupal Knights but still feel connected to the community. They may be newcomers or more interested in specific community aspects. While they are less connected with the Drupal community, they bring valuable perspectives and enthusiasm to discussions, on an ad- hoc basis.

This meeting serves the purpose to plan out the activities for each workstream and ensure information on the website will be updated accordingly. The purpose is to plan activities and actions for the work stream.

Meeting

In this meeting the workstream (co-) leaders inform one another about planned activities to ensure no overlapping with others or eventually plan out activities together when applicable. The purpose is to align the planned actions. For this purpose, additionally a communication agenda will be created.

This meeting will serve as platform for community members to share knowledge and leverage best practices in their respective work stream and actively participate and contribute in any planned activity.
