About the speakers:

Joao Santos is an IT professional with 20 years of experience, specialising in Drupal since 2009. He is skilled in problem-solving and driving continuous improvement. Since 2016, Joao has served at the European Commission, where he currently leads the Quality Assurance team. In this capacity, he provides strategic guidance and support to development teams, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and delivering exceptional results.

Mario Pavlovic is working in IT for more than 20 years, having gained experience in a variety of different industries. In recent years, he works as a developer and technical coordinator for five core DG EAC websites, mainly focusing on accessibility, infrastructure, and security. These websites have recently been recognised across the European Commission as high-quality projects and examples of good practice, which is confirmed by numerous independent audits and user testing.
