OEL Talk #4 | How to elevate your (OpenEuropa) contribution with automated tests

In this session, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of automated tests by learning what they are and the different types available. We will delve into the importance of automated testing, highlighting its role and how it differs from manual testing. 

You will also explore the costs associated with automated testing, including ongoing maintenance and the overall value it provides. Lastly, you will learn effective strategies for writing productive tests, focusing on best practices, whether in OpenEuropa or elsewhere!

About the speaker:

Adam Nagy is a web developer with over 10 years of experience in high-impact projects across Europe. As a Senior Drupal Consultant for the European Commission, he develops components for OpenEuropa and the Europa Web Publishing Platform, the European Commission main web communication tool, supporting with his team over 170+ Commission sites. He is an active Drupal contributor and module maintainer, sharing his expertise and insights with the community. 

Adam holds a degree in Generative Software Information Technology from the University of Szeged and a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki. His work has significantly enhanced platforms like the European Cluster Collaboration Platform and fit for Health 2.0 project of Horizon 2020.
