Description
The Drupal CoP invites you to OEL Talk #15, where we will look at how to design a standard website page using the OEL Design System in Figma.
During this session, we will build a page live from scratch using only existing components from the design system. The aim is to show how to work efficiently with what is already available, while staying consistent with the guidelines.
Here’s what you can expect from this session:
In this session, you will see how to apply global styles such as colours, typography and spacing to ensure your designs follow the guidelines. We will also show how to use existing building blocks to adapt layouts to different needs.
You will learn how to find, reuse and swap components from the library while keeping full brand consistency. The session will also cover how to use component properties such as toggles and instances to manage variations.
Target audience:
UI UX designers, product designers, accessibility specialists, product managers and anyone interested in digital design and technology.
About the speakers:
Kalte is a UX UI product designer with more than ten years of experience working on digital products and scalable systems in complex environments. He focuses on user centred and practical solutions.
Dora works in UX UI design, accessibility and AI. She is interested in creating user centred digital experiences and exploring new technologies.
Don't miss out on this chance to improve your projects and connect with the Drupal CoP @EC and EUIBAs. We look forward to seeing you there!
